Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Hutch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of the Service

Hutch is a read-it-later web application that lets you save article URLs and read them later. The Service is provided by Proficient Pty Ltd in Australia.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must notify me immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal browser extension usage.

Your content

You retain ownership of the URLs and metadata you save to Hutch. Hutch does not claim any rights over your content. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Service availability

I aim to keep Hutch available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. I may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Hutch and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. I will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
